Situated in the stunningly beautiful Boyne Valley and surrounded by woodlands overlooking the River Boyne, Slane Castle is the perfect venue for weddings, conferences, business/training events and corporate hospitality. The castle re opened for guided tours in 2001, and has also hosted the largest outdoor concerts in Ireland. Apart from being one of the most important stately homes in Ireland, the building has been used as a location for a number of well know movies an in 1984 for the recording of "The Unforgettable Fire" by U2.
